How are companies responding to the coronavirus crisis?

The highly spread of Covid-19 has disrupted human lives, communities and businesses worldwide. Business organizations around the world are coming together and innovating to minimize the impact of public health and to limit the disruption to economies and supply chains. The Covid-19 teaches invaluable lessons for businesses around the world. This article will discuss how can business leads and owners create a new work world that will keep employees both happy and productive.

Mental and Physical Stableness

Poor physical health could make a path to mental health problems. As same as poor mental health could lead to physical health risks as well. As the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has swept the world completely, therefore so many small to medium enterprises are facing financial crisis due to the economic impact. Most of the companies are closed their businesses and now they are re-opened. Business leads have decided to reduce business’s staff due to loss of sales. Therefore, the loss of sales can negatively impact their employees. Companies forced to reduce employee salaries and allowances may impact the productivity of employees. Therefore, employee mental and physical health maintaining would be challenging to business leads.

Managing Organizational Communication

Organizational communication refers to the sharing of information between the employee and the management of the business organization. Organizational communication is a plus point for the organization’s success and honour. The Ongoing pandemic situation could be a barrier to communication between the employees and the senior leads. The business leads should arrange meetings with its employees according to the guidelines which are announced by the WHO and the central government to discuss challenges they meet, the progress of the company, customer reviews and employee relation issues. Organizations can’t survive without proper communication, it becomes harmful to the business’s profile and code of honour.

Connecting with customers

Every business organization have to find new customers and build its customer base to maintain its businesses. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation customers are dealing with online shopping stores. Therefore, transforming its physical store into a digital screen may be a further challenge to business owners. And they should maintain their digital platforms to compete with the competitors. Provide better customer service (live chat, social media support, etc), advertising aggressively, offering amazing discounts, providing different payment methods, doorstep delivery and provide good quality products will be the strategies for customer hunting. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, finding new customers and maintaining existing customers, compete with the competitors may be a major challenge to business leads around the world.
